Boots Harrison Road To Be Paved
The Brantley County Board of Commissioners
Tuesday authorized County Manager Parrish Barwick to sell timber on
road right of way and to assign county work crews to Boots Harrison
Road to do clearing and grubbing and base preparation. The county
commission rejected all bids on the project and will re-bid once the
county's work crews get the project ready for paving.

Graduation Is Friday At 8 p.m.
Brantley County High School's graduation
ceremony is scheduled for Friday night at 8 p.m. at Heron Stadium. A
total of 217 graduates will receive their diplomas at the ceremony.
Courthouse Clock Is Working
The Brantley County Courthouse clock that hasn't worked in at least
a decade is now working. The clock was repaired in recent weeks
while courthouse renovations were underway by D&D Decorators, which
has now completed the work and has started work on the County Office
Building located behind Dairy Queen.
3,797 Students Enroll For Next Year
Dr. Drew Sauls addressed the Brantley County
Exchange Club in recent days and reported that 3,797 students have
enrolled for the 2010-11 school year. He also spoke of budget cuts
from the state that have meant cutbacks locally.
